The 36th Annual "Le Cirque" Black Tie Gala, hosted by the Venice YMCA, was a night to remember, celebrating the rich circus heritage of Venice, Florida. Held on February 15, 2025, at 701 Center Road, the event transformed the YMCA gymnasium into a captivating circus atmosphere, honoring the past, present, and future of the Venice YMCA.

A highlight of the evening was the special guest appearance by legendary trapeze artist Tito Gaona. Known for his performances with the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus and the Big Apple Circus, Gaona introduced the night's "Big Top" performance. His daughter, Victoria, a seventh-generation performer, continued the family legacy with a spectacular act that left the audience in awe.

In addition to the mesmerizing performances, attendees enjoyed a gourmet dinner catered by Michael’s on East, danced to live music by the Actual Bank Robbers Band, and participated in live and silent auctions. The event also paid tribute to Jeanette Hanchey-Flokstra, founder of the Venice YMCA, who passed away in March 2024. Her unwavering support and advocacy were instrumental in building the foundation that serves families today.
